More Russian Fodder

Jeff Sessions recused himself of taking part in any investigations concerning the Russian hacking scandal.  This after democrats, like Chuckles the Clown Schumer insisted on his resignation just 3 weeks after he was sworn in as Attorney General.   Session had already been planning his recusal for days at the advice of the White House so there is not a conflict of interest in the Russian hacking probe.  The Trump administration is likely to call on a special prosecutor to finally put the Russian involvement into the election to rest.

During his confirmation hearings, Sessions stated he was not aware of any Russian activities having to do with the Russian hacking controversy.  He did talk twice the previous year to Ambassador Kislyak, Russian ambassador to the US at the Republican convention, as he had done with other diplomats, but not about Russian hacking.  He had again talked with the Russian ambassador in his office in September.

Now the democrats say his recusal is admittance that the Trump campaign knew of the Russians role in influencing the election.  They also want Sessions to resign and accused him of committing perjury at his confirmation hearing.

When will this nonsense ever stop?

Pelosi is accusing sessions of “lying under oath to the American people is now grounds for him to resign.”  Chuckles Schumer, Senate minority leader, released a statement saying, ” . . . for the good of this country, Mr. Sessions should resign.”

It was already reported in the Washington post, that Sessions did meet with the Russian ambassador in extensive detail along with 2 staffers.  It had nothing to do with Russian intelligence of hacking.  He “talked with the ambassador about a trip he made to Russia in 1991, terrorism and Ukraine — a major policy issue following Russia’s annexation of Crimea and the imposition of U.S. and European Union sanctions on Russia for its actions.  At one point, Sessions said, “it got to be a little bit of a testy conversation.” He said the ambassador invited him to lunch, but he did not accept.  “Most of these ambassadors are pretty gossipy, and this was in the campaign season, but I don’t recall any specific political discussions,” Sessions said. (Washington Post)

Even after this, over 86 congressional lawmakers on the hill are now calling for Sessions resignation. (NBC)  Talk about a witch hunt.  It’s obvious the Democrats are again trying to do everything in their power to upset and destabilize the administration.  It’s just more fodder in an attempt to take focus away from other issues such as the repeal of Obamacare.  Trump was asked by the media left if he still has ‘confidence’ in Sessions after he recused himself.  He simply responded with a simple answer;  “TOTAL”.

What many fail to see is Sessions did admit to meeting with a Russian ambassador, but never said he discussed anything about the election.  This was also asked of him during his confirmation hearings in which he was grilled by Al Franken concerning the Russian hacking and responding, “I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians.” (concerning Russian hacking, which was obviously inferred).  Of course the “Russian activities” that Franken was eluding in that discussion without directly saying it was Russian hacking.

Again, the liberal left Democrats on the hill, their surrogate protestors and the fake news media want to drag this out as some type of ‘smoking gun’ that Russian hacking DID occur.  And the Trump administration, including Sessions, who is the Nations “top cop”, knew about it.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  What’s worse, is that Obama expelled 30 members of Kislyak’s staff as part of the Russian sanctions for the DNC hacks without substantiating the hacks through independent review.   Additionally, Obama expelled over 35 diplomats and their families from the US just after the New Year. (NBC)  As everyone knows, this 11th hour act by an out-going president was mainly done to disrupt the transition of Trump into the White House and nothing more.

Kislyak is but a small player in government.  His main focus has been disarmament issues as a diplomat for over 9 years.  In October 2016, his office released a statement saying, ” We are trying to stay as far away as possible from this election, since any move that we do has a chance to be used in a political discussion and interpreted in a wrong way.”

So, again, before even getting the real story and knowing all the facts, the democratic, liberal left knee-jerk reaction is to call for Jeff Sessions resignation and accuse him of perjury.  When will the stupidity stop?

Now we have learned that key Dems also met with the same ambassador and communications with “Russia”. (Fox News)  The visitor logs in the White House, which Obama made public in 2009 in a push for transparency, show that the long-time Russian ambassador to the United States visited the White House at least 22 times between 2009 and 2016.  (Truthfeed)

Trump released this tweet in response:

The American people know this is one of the main reasons Trump was elected to office.  They are sick and tired of the partisan division.  Until the democraps can clean house and rid themselves of their divisive shenanigans including the 86 democratic clowns now residing on capital hill, it will likely never end.

  1. To answer, it won’t stop. As for a special prosecutor, need to be very cautious about going there. It’ll sidetrack the administration and could be a pandora’s box. GOPers need tp show some cahones and start fighting back for public consumption. They seem to be too much on the defensive.
